Failed to check for updates

So, for the past few days I've been trying to get plutonium with my friends, but whenever I launch I get this lovely message:
do you guys have any idea on how to fix it? -
Im having the same issue, would love to find a way to fix this soon.

Delete plutonium.exe and the .new file, and redownload the launcher from https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe.
