Steam game "Spacewar"
-
Yesterday I was checking my profile and I saw this game. It said it had 0.0 hours logged. I investigated, and this game is used to hack online games. I don't know if this game appears to me because of Plutonium (I'm 99% sure it comes from it), or if it's because of another game. Here are my questions
Does the program come from Plutonium?
If it does, can I get banned?
(I was doing research, and I got very different answers) -
no its not used to hack online games its what we use for steam integration if you dont own any of the call of duty's we have then it will default to space wars its just a free game on steam. Yes cracked games will usually abuse for games like back in the day if you had a cracked copy of the forest then you would abuse space wars to play with friends and other people but in no way is a hack.
And no you will not get banned steam does not ban base on games on your account anyone can threw command line grab a copy of spacewars and play it.

FragsAreUs I am using a translator and I don't understand much. Can I get banned or not? Im so confused, sorry.

@Syhena tldr no you can not get banned

@Syhena This is used by both Steam online games developers and pirates to use that "developer sandbox" to fake connection or something to be used for multiplayer on cracked games but it's not always related to piracy, it's a developer stuff that got used by pirates.

One question, is it normal for it to appear in my profile as a recently played game? It said that I played on Tuesday, and that day I was also playing another "server" of another COD game.
(Sorry, im using a translator)
