I have been running the Origins Easter egg solo for a couple of days now and I read a post on the forum that encompasses come of my complaints but I have an idea why. I think there is a bug in the Staff placement step. Most BO2 players utilize the Fire Staff in excavation glitch to complete this rather than placing all the staffs in the robots, but I think that it is causing a further glitch where it doesn't give you the proper ejection timer. Thus you are ejected early and "Rain Fire" step is virtually incompletable. Basically throwing out a 2+ hour run. I would appreciate if the mods could look into this, but overall the zombies runs great.

rusty_pacifier mmmmmm indeed it would be pretty nice to have more time in solo to throw the GStrike
