My friend has been trying to play zombies with us and their game just keeps crashing and shows this popup instead. It's also said a critical exception had occurred with the exception code 0x0000005 and exception address 0x0074C375. I've gone through old chats on discord and forum posts trying to figure out the solution. Could someone guide me if the solution is literally obvious and I'm being oblivious towards it- They've already reinstalled the game multiple times according to the guide.

fruitwhore there isn't one solution, this can be caused by alot of different things. Best would be to upload the .dmp file to google drive and post the link here that way we can have a look at it.
If he has any overlays (msi afterburner/rivatuner/...) tell him to disable them.

fruitwhore well it's 0 bytes, should be 500MB+ in size.. Anyways:

          • What where you doing when the game crashed?
          • Which map and game mode where you playing?
          • Do you have any mods installed?
          • In case you crashed on zombies, which difficulty did you play on?
          • Do you have any overclocks applied?
          • Do you have any DirectX overlays (msi afterburner/rivatuner/..)?

Dss0 hey this is the person who's having the problem. anyways,

            • i was waiting for the game to start on the loading screen when it crashed. this happened everytime.

            • i tried joining my friends server as well as playing solo. in both instances it crashed. i dont remember the maps but i know ive tried about 3 different ones.

            • i have no mods installed.

            • the difficulty varied from easy to original in zombies.

            • no overclocks applied

            • I have no DirectX overlays

(note; im no pro gamer and i really dont know the problem or how to fix this on my own so we're really just depending on your answers here lol)

fruitwhore idk either, without a valid dump file we can't debug the issue.. have you tried this? https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/6353/how-to-repair-your-t6-installation

could you guide me where exactly would the dump files be? I followed the directions on the pop up and all the crash files are either 0 bytes or barely 1kb.
