why can't i play on windows 7?

Black ops 2 was designed for windows 7 why the hell i can't play it on windows 7 now? black ops is a 2012 game, theirs no need for this bad requirement

crusher Because Plutonium uses certain Windows related things in the launcher code and Windows 7 doesn't support that. If they wanted to support Windows 7 they would have to re-write a lot of things just because of Windows 7 and since Windows 7 isn't even supported by Microsoft themselves there is no reason a free client would waste their time supporting it.
Windows 7 is outdated and has security and compatibility issues. You're the one using Internet Explorer and asking developers to make their website work with an ancient web browser, if you understand it better that way.

crusher First off Windows 7 has the Biggest Security Flaw of all time and 2 pretty sure they use Code in Newer Versions of Windows to launch shit that Older Windows Builds just don't have aren't you still using Internet Explorer as your Browser? I think its time to move on

I wanted to try Plutonium for MW3 (because TeknoGods only finds me 1 server, and was the perfect time to try Plutonium), but same here.
Crazy how many people still uses W7 to play a game designed to that OS, but I guess it is my fault for not having enough money to buy a new computer since 2011, my bad.Just curiosity but, when did you started this project? A project specifically to play 3 W7 games, an SO that lost support just 2 years ago, but is still relevant and many modern games still are compatible (if not directly says it in the specs, such us Borderlands 3 for example).
I get that you must draw a line somewhere, and being a free project is just more than anyone could ask for, but come on man, it is not like asking for XP compatibility in a new game, we are talking about a decade old games designed when W8 wasn't even announced yet, it was obviuos many of that active players would come from W7 xDDDDD -
we dont support windows 7 at the end of the day you can always upgrade to windows 10 via windows 10 media creation tool. we use api calls for stuff that windows 7 just does not support like our native controller support for mw3. If you wish to play on pluto upgrade to windows 10 64 bit or windows 11.
