i only started playing bo2 again after the recent update, but i've had some similiar fps drops that i didn't have a few months back.
Ryzen 2400g
RX 570 8GB
16GB DDR4 RAMgame on ssd, everything up to date yada yada
mxve Same here my game never dropped this many frames like this before the recent update. games on an SSD, ran my anti malware programs, shut down all background processes that would take up system resources and still get the frame drops. Even lowered the in game FPS cap to 120 and still got the frame drops.

What applications do you have running in the background?
My guess would be that it is something that uses your gpu in the background
Xerxes I don't have any applications running in the background apart from DS4 windows so
I can use a controller -
same here, ryzen 2700x zotac 1060 3gb and windows 11 64 as well, ive started noticing stutters for no reason since the game is always at 200 fps

fec yeah my guess that something with the latest update has causes the frames drops because my plutonium never used to consistently drop this many frames during matches and it seems to be happening to a few users

Does it also happen when you play with m+kb? It might be a power saving feature of your gpu driver because it lacks input. Or that the tool is just causing a cpu spike. I can literally mine eth on my pc while gaming without getting any hitches..

Xerxes I had task manager open in the background to see if any other application was causing sudden spikes of usage and only plutonium was using any system resources. I’ve tried everything from lowering in game settings from max and even reinstalling plutonium and i'm still getting the drops. I don't know what else i can do to try and resolve my issue.

TTV ImShortyy6 Bro, this is a plutonium issue, over players including myself are also experiencing the same thing after the update.
