Not letting my friend join the lobby.

Hello, there has been a bug (I guess) that doesn't let my friend join my lobby. He double clicks on my name in the friends list and it just says: 'Joining Game Session' and loads out of existence. Furthermore, when executing the command 'connect' and putting his Public IP and his Port, it does that same thing to me. Yes, I've checked, his Public Privacy is Open, Maximum Players are set to 8 and his NAT Type is Moderate (I don't really know what NAT Type is but it's just what shows next to the Party Privacy). Can anybody help me with this? Because as I've scrolled through past forum posts regarding this similar problem, Plutonium really doesn't provide video guides or in depth support about a problem like this so I'd really appreciate a thoughtful/resourceful answer regarding this topic to help more users with the same/similar problem.
