BO2 Cheaters
-
In regards to the top two players on the FBI team in the screenshot. Wasn't able to record any killcams from this exact match, but here is video of a few killcams from the following match -
Gonna go check my server and see if they have been there and give them a ban hammer.

What was the server? Servers may have mods loaded that allow this. Since server owners can do whatever they want with the server it doesn't necessarily mean it's a cheater who can use cheats on all servers.Recently a lot of people have been complaining about "Admin Cheater" on a server. This means that on that specific server the server owner has uploaded something that gives extras to the admins.
Don't jump to conclusions TacTicToeContact the server owner and ask for the demo of the game

Sorex i'll be honest; it's a bit stupid that we have to keep this in mind. the fact that any server we play on could have this contention is ridiculous and totally blows the "just play on a different server" advice wide open. plutonium doesn't allow cheats, so this rule should extend to the people running it. i don't know why they are the exception. it only serves to risk more false reports and less players wanting to join out of fear that their favorite server could be the next to allow cheats for their admins
-
Sorex I don't understand one thing, what difference would it be if it were a Mod loaded inside the Server or an external Cheat? the fact that the external Cheat is detectable by the Anti Cheat and the Mod loaded in the Server is not? It is not a matter of "Change Server, and do not play it", just so you do nothing but enable the other admin of the servers to use Cheats.

no rome Unfortunately I'm sorry that we have to think like this. But just think of the trickshot servers, some of them may have the expolsive bullets to allow players to hit more clips.
@revolyssupneet
I give you the example of mapvote.
Imagine that Carl wants to create his own server and add mapvote. Carl to add the mapvote downloads a mod in gsc and uploads it on the server following the method allowed by plutonium ( https://plutonium.pw/docs/modding/loading-mods/ ). By adding mapvote Carl has improved his server adding something new and useful for the communiyNow consider Bob. Bob likes to troll players and wants to add a mod menu on his server that only he and a few of his friends can use. Bob does the same, downloads a mod menu in gsc and uploads it following the allowed method.
Neither of them broke the rules even though Bob uploaded a mod menu. They own the server and can do whatever they want with it.
In fact Carl and Bob's changes only affect their own servers and not the servers of others.
A cheat to be a cheat must work on all servers.
All clients that are based on servers are like that, also on rust and cs:go you can load similar scripts.

@revolyssupneet you don't understand it.
We don't monitor servers.
Anyone can get a server live within a few minutes for free.
We don't have time to moderate every single server and all the bullshit that happens there.It's not a matter of detection
Server side mods are just mods. They can be used for anything while a cheat is a program that gives a cheat to anyone on any server.So if admins use their admin rights for unfair advantages leave the server and if people aren't too dumb they'll all leave too

Sorex I don’t remember the name, but I don’t think it was a server modification because there was only 2 or 3 people out of the whole TDM lobby who were doing this. Everyone else was typing “hacker” or “cheater” in the lobby chat. Maybe it’s worth noting two of the accounts are like a month old and they’re all friends with each other? I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can provide
-
meekzyr you can give advantages to certain players or ranks with gsc so it's not a proof that it's not a server side mod.
If they don't have any role on the server if you're sure they're just users then yeah they're probably cheaters and you should report it
