adam yes i do, consoles have the same problem, but let's be real, there is no one left, it's not speculation, look at the other cods, the cod MP PC community just doesn't exists, even CS 1.6 that was released in 2003 still have 15k players daily, all cods COMBINED on steam barely hit a total of 6k player (3.5k of them are on BO3 and the rest is BO2 ZOMBIE, BO1 SP/ZOMBIE, WAW)
Smookinhow There is barely 1k people playing MP (all MP games combined... ON STEAM.. Not on an obscure third party mod that you have to download on internet)
Spending all that time remaking BO1 MP is useless, but don't listen to me, let them do it, wait until they make it and the server list is empty, in 2 years people will read this thread and laugh at how internet people just can't get over their feelings for logic's sakeDont get me wrong, respect the work of all the people at plutonium, what you're doing for the community and for free is insane, that's because i actually empathize and value their time that i commented this
@Zombieteube Console problems are completely different from the Steam version. PS3 doesn't let you save your progress on newer accounts, and Xbox matchmaking is just fucked. And look, I fucking get it. Respawn deathmatch shooters aren't really *fun anymore. However, the difference between you and me is that I didn't start playing CoD till Infinite Warfare, whereas you probably benefited from the nOStalGiA from the older CoDs.
I'm just honestly grateful to finally get a confident BO1 client with actually working multiplayer. Even though I don't value these devs, like at first they made this shit post about BO1 a year ago, and now they are doing this but only in their "free time." Sorry if that sounded too blunt, but what you said was just too far. And I know you won't care about what I have to say, so go back to playing Fortnite and some other game that isn't "dead".

adam ah yes i see what you mean, and it makes sense to want to experience it in good conditions (because consoles unfortunately are the worst thing when it comes to games conservation and preservation so we can only count on pc and it's wonderful community to keep those old games alive and running)

And man i'm a avid quake player and that game only have 400 people playing average, i dont care if there are not that many people, but if the steam version can sometimes pull out 300 players on BO1 MP... This third party version will be even way lessAnd for the devs, honestly yes they do it on their free time, it's not like they are paid for doing this they can't just leave their job to create a free mod online that might get sued into oblivion by activision at any time.. Just imagine how much you'd have to pay someone just in terms of hour count if you gave them the task of recreating a fully functional client with additional features and QoL improvement like controller support etc (things that aren't native to the software on itself bc activision never even bothered to do a single good PC ports (even though we are the only ones keeping their fucking games alive and the zombie running))
Hope you see what i meant ^-^PS: honestly i dont really have any nostalgia for the older cods, because i never left them, i've been playing them for all these years and i'm cumulating almost 3000 hours of playtime on COD (just the steam versions because i was playing it on console before i switched to pc in 2012), so i see those game with face value and not with rose tinted glasses, and while the zombie can be played solo and doesn't get affected by time.. The MP of almost all steam CODs suffer from having just one or two server with 15 players (and if you're lucky to live on the same continent as the server lol) and that's all.. If you don't play at peak rush hour well you can't play a match with more than 8 players... And people want them to spend all that time recreating a game that will obviously suffer from what every single one of the other cods on pc suffer from : emptiness)
but you'r right, let's give it a try, i'm not the one spending all my free time working on it so if it flops i'll just have lost the download time lol -

I know so many people are asking for cod bo1 and the plutonium team don't have plans to add it (I guess they have their reasons), but I'm here to give my reasons why cod bo1 should come to plutonium
- Not worth buying:
in 2021 cod bo1 it's a quite bit dead, the only reason there is for the people to keep playing the game is for the zombies mode (I'll touch on this topic later), and the people who keep playing are very few.
but I know are a bunch of people playing this game in an illegal version so maybe there is more than that
in that illegal version neither there isn't a client support available (not that I know), so we can't play with friends, play MP, or any game mode online, so have it in plutonium will gather all that illegal players to this stable version and probably that little group of legal players too.
- Greater security
as I mentioned before with this newer version of cod bo1 will come illegals players, players that maybe are cheaters or noobs wanting to annoy others, so we have an anti-cheats and that will increase the number of new players and decrease the numbers of cheaters in this cod
the method to download it will be safer, I been trying to download this cod in pages illegals but I feel I'm downloading 10 GBS of virus, but if comes to plutonium we will know are safe to download.
- Zombies
bro, I'll honest with you, we want cod bo1 for the zombies mode, no one will play this MP having the MPs of bo2 or mw3 available in plutonium
I know we have zombies mode of bo2 but isn't enough, we can't add custom maps to this game or mods (only variants of the same maps) so if the plutonium team will not add bo3, add cod bo1 instead, as the zombies community in cod bo1 is active publishing new custom maps to this game.
so, please if you can add cod bo1 to plutonium we will be grateful
