plutonium launcher doesnt open

I recently formatted my pc. I had one launcher on my desktop.
I accidentally opened that one (not the one in the game directory). and now they both don't work. when i try to open the launcher, i just see it in the taskmgr for 1 second and it is gone.
can you help? -

First of all restart your PC and try againIf it still doesn't work then
- Press + R type winver and send a screenshot of the window
- Mention what your antivirus is
- Screenshot the error if you got any

You shouldn't use outdated OS anyways for security reasons

it was working with that version before i reset my pc.
(by the way that version is the newest my pc handles with 4 gb ram)Usellessguy 1607 should be fine, anything before that won't work. Download and run this https://github.com/ChxseH/Redist-Installer/releases/download/latest/Redist-Installer.bat

Dss0 Usellessguy in theory 1607 should work but I saw a lot of reports from people with that version who couldn't get it to work until they updated.
Maybe try to install the redist on the system requirements doc.
Anyways staying with such an outdated version is a security risk and there is no reason to stay with that so you should upgrade anyways

Resxt well the only reason why it doesn't work on 1511 is that the launcher needs .net 4.7.2 and the latest version that works on 1511 is 4.6.2.

Dss0 i know im way late on this but my launcher was working 2 days ago and now it wont work at all and says im missing files and reinstalling would fix it ive reinstalled the lancher over 10 times and it hasnt been working
Muffinman v69 pls create a new topic and show us exactly which files it says are missing.
