Problems with excessive CPU consumption using WINE on linux
-
Guys, for a few days I've been trying to solve problems with excessive cpu consumption using wine on linux debian 10 and ubuntu 20.04.
I think my problem was with the kernel and wine.
I updated the kernel through liquorix and now everything seems to work fine.
I was having problems with kernel version 4.19.0-20, this same kernel on three machines, a ryzen 5800x, 3600x and a xeon e-2286G.
Liquorix appears to use version 5.10, and it also has several performance tuning settings.
Here's a tip for friends, if you have problems, try to update your kernel.
I didn't test it by compiling a new kernel, just with liquorix.
EDIT1: this should work for t6, iw5 and t4
