    Re: BIN/PLUTONIUM-BOOTSTRAPPER-WIN32.EXE

Hi, i tried the previous advice and it does not work for me.
I run it as administrator and it doesn't work either, I don't know what else to do to try to make it work.
If someone can help me I would appreciate it, I bought it on steam for €100 and I can't get it to work...

Crash with an error (0x000007b, crashdump error or similar)

There is no easy answer for this but here are some possible solutions

      • Add Plutonium as an exception in your antivirus or uninstall it (do what is said for your antivirus in the documentation) https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus
      • Repair your game: https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/
      • Update your GPU drivers
      • Install DirectX (even if it's already installed): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
      • If you're running the game in a virtual machine don't, this doesn't work
      • If you're using ReShade remove it. It's not supported on Plutonium and will make your game crash
      • Close programs with overlays or disable their overlays (Steam, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner etc.)
      • Try to unplug devices connected to your PC (VR headset, other monitors, controllers etc.)
      • If you use an Avermedia capture card uninstall its drivers
      • Verify the integrity of your system files:
Open the start menu and search for "cmd"
        Run cmd as admin
Copy and paste (right click) each command below one by one in the cmd and press enter after each command
Only put the next command when the one you ran is finished.
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
      sfc /scannow

Once it's done restart your PC

As a last resort doing a clean install of Windows (factory reset) could solve the issue. Don't install your usual programs at first just install your GPU drivers, Direct X, your browser and Discord for example and test like that.

alexsantoro_ This error code has nothing to do with Plutonium, it is an error from Windows.

          From the Windows documentation:

          NTSTATUS: 0xC000007B STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_FORMAT

{Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

This means that the executable is not valid. This error code is commonly caused by anti-virus applications running on your system trying to remove the executable. You should try the following:

          1. Add %LocalAppdata%\Plutonium to your exclusion list in your anti-virus software. (or simply disable it, it's up to you).
          2. Re-install plutonium by running the plutonium.exe file you downloaded from our site. This will put a new plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe file on your system.
          3. Start the game again, it should now work.

I was having the same problem; I figured the solution. I had to add a few files to the folder %LocalAppdata%\Plutonium\bin to fix it. the problem is every time I open plutonium it always updates and deletes the files meaning after it updates and delete the files I have to add the files again, is there a way to fix this

                DeathisNEAR what files?
add them to your exclusions with this way
wndows security>virus and thereat protection>virus and thereat protection settings(click on manage settings)>exclusions
and then add the folder that the files are in that
