BO2/Plutonium crashes to desktop with no error message exactly 1 minute after launch
-
Hello,
I posted this in the support channel in the Plutonium Discord but got told I would be better off looking for help here instead. I've searched the forums for similar posts but can't find anything related to this exact issue.
I bought BO2 on Steam and have tried to get Plutonium working with it, but whenever I press play in the T6 Zombies tab on Plutonium, the game runs fine for exactly one minute before crashing back to the desktop with no error message. Both BO2 and Plutonium close during this crash, and it’s always after exactly one minute. Here’s a link to a clip of the crash happening: https://gfycat.com/splendidsecretivorybackedwoodswallow. I’ve checked that Plutonium is using the right folder, tried disabling my firewall, and tried reinstalling everything, but none of these have worked. The BO2 game on Steam works fine for me without using Plutonium though. I can’t see anything related to this exact issue in the FAQs either so I thought I’d ask here. Could anyone please help?
Many thanks

NotKel restart ur router, let plutonium through ur firewall(if it’s on)

hindercanrun firewall is off in windows settings, i can see servers just fine and click to connect, but it will only say "joining game session" and not actually load me in

I uninstalled the game 3 times but it continued after I installed bo2 through steam but the problem still continued, honestly I've done everything but I can't solve this crash

educavera please mention every security tool/antivirus/proxy/VPN you have installed. Even if it's disabled or disconnected or has Plutonium has exclusion or if you think it's not important
Also you could check your firewall to see if it has a firewall set to strict or something like that

Resxt I solved the problem by adding the plutonium executable file to the firewall and putting the plutonium folder in the bo2 game folder.
