Can I be VAC banned if I install DLC on my original Steam game?

I just read this topic https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/7155/how-to-install-the-t6-dlcs?loggedin=true, and I'm worried if for some reason open my original game and have my non-Steam DLC. Will I get VAC banned or the game will just ignore them

@GatoXikito Correct. The steam game won't be any wiser, as you dont have the license on steam to "use that content" but it doesn't care that the content is there.
