Being disconnected when my brother disconnects

Hi guys. I'm playing with Plutonium with no problems besides that everytime me or my brother disconnects from the server, the other one disconnects too. We are playing with more 3 friends and this only happens to us, so I think this could be due to the fact that we are using the same internet connection. There is a way to prevent this from happening?
