Anti-Cheat on private dedicated servers

Greetings.
After playing a lot of IW4X me and my friends want to move on to Plutonium. We want to setup a dedicated private Server to play CoD through Plutonium. I´ve read alot about the Anti-Cheat System that is used by Plutonium, but I was wondering if private dedicated servers are also protected by this system.
I doubt that one of my friends will begin to cheat in private matches. So just for interest: Does the Anti Cheat System work on private Dedicated Servers automatically or do I have to configure it, when setting up the server, so that private servers are not protected by default.Thanks in Advance.

Pythagorion the anticheat is always enabled except you switch to lan mode in the launcher (arrow next to the play button), that however doesn't allow you to join public servers.
