Any recent solution? I tried everything!

This topic's in "BO2 Client Support" because I actually can play MW3 multiplayer with no problem.

    Thanks, have a nice day!!

Well... This didn't work for me. If someone reading this have any other suggestion, I'll try it again.

This error means the game cannot load certain files because they are missing or broken. This means you either didn't follow the repair guide correctly or you downloaded your files from an unsupported source. If that's the case then I would recommend deleting your current files and downloading the files from a supported source (Steam or the torrent Plutonium provides.

Make sure to follow the install guide correctly and make sure the download is complete (100%) so that you have all the files.

Resxt I have BO2 on steam and I have tried to fix it by verifying the game files, that didn't work, same screen. I then uninstalled and reinstalled BO2 through steam, that didn't work, same screen. I then downloaded it through plutonium and followed the install instructions exactly as they are put in the post, that didn't work, same screen. There is an error that goes beyond "there was an error in install". I know there was not an error in install, I have made double and triple checks each time and nothing works. Is there any other guidence that you can provide beyond "install it again"?

Know since it means corrupted/missing files not really. Here's all I have

How to fix the code_pre_gfx error?
If you downloaded the game on Steam then repair your game https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/

If you downloaded the game with the torrent provided by Plutonium then repair your game https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/

If you didn't download through Steam or the torrent provided by Plutonium then you probably have a lot of missing files (like all multiplayer files)
Delete your files and download from Steam or the official torrent instead https://plutonium.pw/docs/install/

Note that for Black Ops II, if you used your Steam files, you have to make sure you downloaded both Multiplayer and Zombies

If you have downloaded the game from steam, but you have not started it, you have to start it and open both the multiplayer and the zombies mode so that both modes can be downloaded, and then open the plutonium, i think.
