I'm not sure how to play local?

I was trying to use a zombies mod menu that says to play locally to avoid getting banned, but I'm not sure how? I thought it was custom games but I ended up getting banned anyways, I wasn't trying to use it online plus the menu wasn't even working for me, what do I do?

@ItzOro to play in LAN mode you should click on the arrow on the Play button which will change the Play button to a LAN yellow button.
