Hey! Recently I installed IW5 for my Steam Copy of MW3 and was looking for some advice with VAC (Valve Anti Cheat). I saw on the forums here that the game does not interfere with the files of the Steam Version, but I just wanted to make sure that if I use my steam version of the game as the directory of the mod I am not at risk for a VAC ban on my account.

I launched the game through the launcher and I saw the steam overlay, but I saw that steam did not at all recognize me as playing MW3 even with steam open after I started MW3 (With the plutonium launcher) . I am just making sure I did not mess up and that this will not cause any sort of ban.

    Thank you.

no you are 100% safe and you will not get a vac ban the reason why you cant start mw3 after playing on pluto is because of the steam_api.dll being deleted as we dont use it and it messes with our client we auto delete it
