heists the point of Plutonium is not to exactly create a "hack free nostalgia fest" but it's a client directly for PC players (as it is a PC client) that adds dedicated server support. Therefore, they only have support for mouse and keyboard. If you are using controller on it, sucks to be you. There is no reason for them to do all the work of adding aim assist when you could easily learn mouse and keyboard within a few (days?) or hours and be equally good in no time.

First off, his reasoning isn't wrong. And either way, the understanding of how aim assists works and whether or not it's "already in the game" is wrong. Yes the dvars are still there. However, there is so much more that would be required to make aim assist work. Just because the dvars are still there doesn't mean that the rest of the actual code behind it is still there.

I'd also like to see aim assist, especially since NucleusCoop might support black ops 2 soon. And who the f ever played cod on pc anyways lol? It's made to play on console with a controller. But I guess that everything their dev's we're able to do was rewrite redacted and give it an UI. Since everything can be easily dumped nowadays from PS3/X360 it wouldn't even be that big of a deal to reverse engineer their aimassist.

If its "so easy" why don't you just create your own custom T6 client that has aim assist for controllers

Peak hours have around 400 players on T6 alone, during the more quiet hours it's something like 200. Again, this isn't including IW5

Xerxes So is what you're saying that it is really too much work for too little reward? Or is it just impossible to implement it or you don't know how? I honestly know nothing about making it work, but I think if the reason is that theres too little reward, I would disagree. It would definitely make a lot of people that play this game happy, and keep a lot more people playing it, then recommending it etc. If it wasn't one of those reasons, I can't figure out what else it could be, it shouldn't break the game or make it unfair, when u look at the cross play games including cod, good mouse and good controller players can both do well without it being unfair really.

there will not be aim assist on plutonium.
