No one can see my server listed but I can join locally
-
I started hosting a server following this guide https://plutonium.pw/docs/server/t6/setting-up-a-server/ and did everything it said there. I get a heartbeat succesful, and I'm using port 4977. I can join it by using connect localhost:4977 (or my private IP instead of localhost), but I can't if I use my public IP, nor can anyone see it on the server list.
Here are some screenshots that might help - removed because server key shown in screenshots -

BrokenTwiceX You can't join yourself with your public IP because you're in the local network, that's normal. The only thing that tells you if your server is working or not is whether people outside of your network can see your server and join it

@lResxt so what should I do? I'll re link the screenshots with the server key blurred https://imgur.com/a/gru9P5e

BrokenTwiceX it's possible you're not seeing it yourself because your router doesn't support (or doesn't have it turned on) wan loopback. Ask a friend or someone else who plays pluto if he can see the server. you yourself can connect via the console using lan ip and port of the server.
connect 192.168.x.x:4977

Do what Dss0 said. If you need someone to try to join you can add me on Discord Resxt#5079
Basically you join yourself with/connect local IP:port
and others join your server by double clicking on it in the server list and for that you need someone outside your network to confirm that he can see and join your server. Note that the server name is the one given by the server key, not in the .bat or the .cfg!
