Got new router, now port forwarding does not work for dedicated server.
-
Basically I've been putting up a dedicated server with my friends and it worked fine on both ports being 4976 even for zombies. Yesterday I got a new netgear router that is able to port forward from what i've seen. So I copied the exact same settings over. From my previous router. That being both UDP and TCP, and internal and external ports being 4976. However when I try to start up any server. The server will not get info and make a few steam callbacks and send another heartbeat. I've tried getting help on Discord but they have zero idea on a fix so I was told to make a post here.

Have you tried updating your router's firmware? Also most routers require you to assign port forwarding to a certain device, does yours allow you to do that? if you visit canyouseeme.org and enter 4976 and get a success message?
Is the internal address correct? (192.168.1.2?) Run ipconfig via command prompt on the machine you're hosting on.

Yo_Angelo (localhost) is your public ip not your Ipv4

Check your ip at router and web, be sure that they are same.

Alright so I played around with the router and got it working. It now shows it's getting info from other ips and stuff. However the server still does not show up on the server browser. Any reason why?

If you and other people can direct connect to it via your external ip then that is just a bug of t6, some people don't see all servers.
