Launcher sign in button does nothing

as stated in the title upon entering my username and password into the plutonium launcher and clicking the sign in button nothing happens.
this is my first time using the program and i have confirmed my email address after registering on the site, i have also tried running as admin but to no availany help will be appreciated

can you show us a screenshot of the login form just before you try to press sign in? Thanks in advance.

i figured out what the problem was, the launcher was not registering the input of the password when i copied and pasted it from my password manager pressing space* allowed the sign in button to be pushed. i then hit another problem with the launcher not accepting my password im not sure if it was the format of the password as it had both upper and lower case letters along with numbers and symbols but upon changing the password i was able to login and connect to servers with no problem
(*i pressed delete after to ensure no extra characters were being registered in the password field)
