The question you should be asking is, "Would a second PC really be necessary for this?". When I was self hosting I personally chose to use Hyper-V on my main PC since a single plutonium server won't use more than half of a CPU core assuming you have something recent. (Intel i5-i7 5-6th Gen or any Ryzen Chip)
My answer would be: Assuming you have already have any of those specs above just use any Type 1 virtualization software to host your server.
