Friends not showing up

with the new update of joining off friends instead of using apps such as hamachi, i have tried to add my friends to my friends list so i can just join off them. however when i launch the game it says i have no friends.i 100% have them followed on the forum and they follow me back and even show up on the friend list on the launcher, anyone have a fix?

you have to follow your friend and they have to follow you back after doing so you may need to relaunch the game

WolflexZ wow really???? jeez i didnt think of that, thanks for the tip!, when i said "i tried it" i actually meant that i didnt listen to the instructions. Thank you!

JackEA When you follow someone reboot your game so it'll show in your friends list. Thats all

WolflexZ sorry for toxicity, got a bit carried away, getting annoyed this isnt working. anyways thanks for the tip but like i said i have tried that.

WolflexZ his name is Bogfucks , we have eachother followed on the forum, however when he launches his game and looks at his friends list to join us, it shows "no friends" however he still shows up on my friends list but is not joinable and says "offline" even though he is on the game and when i invite him it does not pop up on his screen, we have tried the following
-restarting game
-restarting pc
-refollowing eachother
-connecting via hamachi
and still nothing, it works fine for all my other friends but for this friend in particular it does not work. -
