UPnP/Port forwarding.
-
I've been trying to play Plutonium with friends but am unable to get plutonium to recognise that ive enabled UPnP. Ive done everything in the guide, even port forwarding.
I've recently deleted the port forwarding rules ive set up on my router in interest ive done it incorrectly. My ISP is Sky Broadband (UK).
A point worth mentioning is that my Bo2 download for plutonium (provided by the Plutonium team, Not Steam) has retained through an upgrade/downgrade in OS (win10>win11>win10) Not sure if that could have an effect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and anyone experienced with Sky would be even more appreciated.

Raccc "keep in mind that UPnP and port forwarding are two different things so port forwarding will not enable UPnP"
I recommend that you read the introduction, it tries to explain all that https://plutonium.pw/docs/custom-games/#introductionIf you still need help then you need to post screenshots of your settings.
Also the guide mentions that UPnP doesn't work for everyone so port forward instead, I'd recommend disabling UPnP then -
Thank you, i should of stated that i tried both subsequently, as the post says neither to success.
Should i disable UPnP on my router and set up port forwarding instead then?
thanks for the help. -
UPnP Disabled, Still struggling with plutonium.

as of now bo2 does not use upnp as we are using the original code for lobby's now and you need to follow the nat type if its open moderate or strict if you are aiming for a open nat type port forward the protocol udp on port 3074 the only games that need to worry about upnp now are mw3 and waw
so it will forever at least for right now say its disabled when it comes to the network tab in the f10 menu treat black ops 2 like you would back on console or steam just that adding friends requires you both to follow each other on the forum then you can use the ingame friends list not the f10 system to invite each other and or join each other if the lobby/party is open
pls not that if they are in a public server aka dedicated you will have to use the f10 menu to connect to them but if its a private match you have to use the ingame non f10 menu to connect to them. If that makes since
