Quick question with the "give" command
-
I have a quick question which is regarding the "give" command. It seems like it messes with the visuals until your game ends. It triggers a special visual effect related to that map (in this clip, it's burning due to being on Town Survival, but I tested on Die Rise and it gave the screen effect like I was in Who's Who), and makes you unable to tell if you're red-screened.

Is this intentional? It sounds a bit dumb, but I just want a quick answer to satiate my curiousity.
Thanks! -
it is either gsc or the engine doing this but its intentional by bo2 devs but would have to be looked into

I see. Thank you again! I was just curious about about it (mainly due to not being able to see if you're red-screened), that's all.

@Zacky12 Using a gsc script or mod menu doesn't give this effect afaik

@Zacky12 This is a bug with the give command not GSC or the engine. I tested it myself and the exact effect it has is removing the player entity from script which causes innumerable script errors. I recommend using a GSC mod menu or a mod that adds chat commands.

to me it always seemed like 3arc trying to avoid people using commands, when i used some and got this screen too, i thought it was their way to say "stop messing the game" hahahah
-
AdrX003 Yeah, haha! I thought it was either 3arc themselves, or something with Plutonium to avoid messing with the game and play it authentically (unless you bring a mod menu)!

@Zacky12 since it happens the same way in steam and any other version its surely 3arc stuff just like sam laughing wile taking away our stuff or insta killing us haha
