Supposed 'Black Ops 1 Zombie EnCoReV8' mod menu won't work for me

Even after downloading the latest version of this particular menu, then going to BO1 > zone > common to replace 'common_zombie_patch.ff' with the modded version, (I created a backup btw) nothing seems to appear relating to the mod in-game. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I'm not doing right? or does mod menus not quite work yet for zombies of BO1? Hopefully someone can give me a valid explanation to my situation.

If you can you shouldn't replace game files anyways.

Don't worry, it's all under control. When I tried replacing the 'common_zombie_patch.ff' file with the second alpha version of the mod menu, I had an error and I was unable to play. I knew it wasn't windows defender since it was already turned off so after converting the modded patch file back to the original, everything was back to normal. If you're wondering, even for some reason if I were to somehow ruin the game itself and make it unplayable, I always have a clean and backup of the game on my USB stick.

Resxt what happens if u replace the fast file or patch.ff in zone folder? like the only way for me to load a mod menu in my dedicated server is by replacing the patch.ff in zone folder, is that a thing plutonium doesnt want u to do? like will u get banned for doing that?

riick astleyy you won't be banned for it but it's not ideal and replacing files might be patched at some point but afaik putting the file in a folder to make the game overwrite a file is okay

Resxt nice overall its just for my server im not replacing files in my actual game files so i think im good with that?

JezuzLizard every player that have joined my server told me that they can see the mod menu when i open it but they cant use it
