Struggling to install properly on Linux

I am attempting to install the plutonium launcher and BO2 on Ubuntu, however there aren't many guides and the one's that there are don't seem to work currently, nor do they really have much troubleshooting support listed with them. I've run into a roadblock when I go to launch the game (BO2) from the launcher, I get "DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error." and the game doesn't load. This is strange to me, as the game works fine when launching it through Steam. Idk if this is a problem with lutris (the program I'm running the launcher through) the game, or the launcher and any support would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
