Is there a way to not unlock everything

Hey, so I'm wondering why a fresh account instantly has gold weapons. I was hoping to have to earn everything. Something to do but with the camo's unlocked by default its a little boring

if you looked in the barrack's there is a unlock all button or open console via ~ key and typing unlock all then playing a match on a server to make sure it saves
