I cannot try to get black ops one to work on a computer you need to buy it. Can free download it? It don't let me play it?

You should read that again and make sure you select the folder that has Black ops 1 files. Don't select an individual file.

If you don't own the game and you assume the launcher downloads it for you, which it doesn't.
