plutonium won't start

plutonium won't start. I have no more info about the problem
specs: Windows 8.1
2gb ram
core 2 duo e7300
is there a problem with the windows 8.1?
(I can try upgrading to 3 or 4 gb of ram and windows 10)

Also, I saw the plutonium updater task running in the windows task manager
