games do not detect speakers on newer hardware

cod games can detect every device including my pc speakers and my ps4 audio jack, does not detect my tv speakers, sometimes rarely it detects the tv speakers randomly but it is very rare and random, it detects the tv speakers randomly on 1920x1080 resolution which rarely happens and if i change the resolution it no longer detects the speakers on any resolution again no matter what. very sad bug but some people speculate that it is because these games are old and don't function correctly with new software/hardware. hopefully a fix happens. steam version has this same problem with all the cod games

Update: this bug happens with other games and the games don't detect the tv speakers when in full screen mode, only in windowed
