yes .. sure .. but that is not very useful. I mean ... you always have your servers open and then you join them ... this was always the case in all games. this way I will always enter my server empty ..

Most people don't host on the machine they play on. You could set-up a VM for 99% bare metal performance with hyper-v which is included with Windows.

I know many people who have their server on the same computer they use ..
