Horrible frame drops in Black Ops 1 zombies it's outright unplayable
-
So recently I have been trying to play some Black Ops 1 zombies but I ran into a massive problem that makes the game very unplayable.
The problem is when I try to play zombies and load into a game, the game runs very well but when I look in a certain direction in the map it completly shits the bed, for example when I load into Call of The Dead the game runs at roughly 150 fps but when I look in the general direction of the barricade that blocks the way to the ship the frame drops down to less than 30 fps.
And I know that my pc's specs aren't the problem because I can run both Black Ops 2 and World at War at very stable framerates, and I also found a lot of people having this issue with much betters specs than the mine.
I have been trying to fix this issue for about a month now and I have tried every fps boosting thing under the sun, I have tried lowering the settings to the bare minimum and I have tried toying with the config file to change the renderer and enable multithreading and stuff like that and I have tried using optimized config files and I have also tried disabling Vsync and tired enabling shader warming and nothing works.
I am very disappointed about how this game runs, and the problem is that it used to run perfectly fine when rekt t5m was still around and in the early days of pluto t5, if anyone has any tips to fix this issue or knows about a mod or patch that fixes the fps and can put a link to it in the comments that would be greatly appreciated.
Tldr : looking in certain directions on zombies maps drops my fps from about 150 fps to 30 fps and sometimes even lower than that, and it's not my computer's problem it's either the client or the game.

Look on the forum first. This has been answered so many times already. Basically, to sum it up. It's a bad pc port and Treyarch added Shader Warming as a hotfix to the problem. It's been like this since the game was released and there are also 100s of steam topics about this as well. Nothing to do with plutonium. Best thing you can do is lower your graphic settings and turn on Shader Warming, etc, or upgrade your PC. Bo2, MW3, WaW were all good PC ports and can run fine with a low end pc.

RedxSkull I have my game on the lowest settings possible and I have shader warming on and the game also used to run just fine about a year ago.

GlueyGluathon The game runs fine for me, because I have a decent pc, but for users that have a low end pc need to edit their config file and if that doesn't work then obviously it's time to upgrade. Most of the people on the forum that post issues about the game have a low end pc and like I stated, this game was a bad port to pc with no optimizations. Users with mid end or high end pcs have no issues at all with the game.

It runs just fine on my laptop as well. What red is saying is also true about BO1 being a terribly optimised game on PC. It requires a more beefy computer compared to the rest of the earlier CoD games

RedxSkull I have tried changing the config a hundred times, and I already said that it was running just fine on the same laptop I am using now, also I said in the post that I saw people on the forum with better specs having the same issue, my issue is not bad performance overall the game runs fine but when I look in certain directions in maps the frames drop down to 30 fps or less, and I also can't just buy a new pc it's not that easy buying a new pc it's basically considered to be like buying a mansion where I live.

GlueyGluathon I agree that bo1 on plutonium in my experience runs very bad in the same aspect as you say because every time I try to play it I run into the same issue of certain angles messing up my frames, but when I play the steam ports of WAW and Bo1 the experience is more smooth than on plutonium. On plutonium WAW, I run on high resolution and max settings and my game runs at 45 to 60 fps with stuttering, but on steam with the same settings, I run the game at 160 max and lowest 80s. BO1 on steam runs perfectly at around 130 fps max and lowest 70s, but on plutonium I have the worst performance ever even when using shader warming.

PatoGamer0662 Yeah it really sucks I really wanted to play some bo1 but sadly I can't it's basically unplayable, hopefully the plutonium team releases a patch that fixes this soon.

black ops 2 was optimized heavily because tranzit would barely run on last last gen consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360)
and WAW is just an easy game to run in general -
god if they (treyarch) just went back and optimized bo1....i wish they did but sucks

The optimization is fine once shaders have time to build. I get 500 frames with a 5800x, a two generation old CPU at this point.
