    Is port forwarding really necessary? Or should I just host server online somewhere? I can't seem to get past this

      That's how hosting services online works so yes
      The only way to bypass it is by buying a VPS

        Resxt I did everything right with port forwarding, and console says heartbeat successful, but I can't seem to see my server when I check the server list on pluto.
