Lag spikes on iw5 even with low ping

I only play on servers with low ping, i dont usually ever get higher than 55 rarely goes up to 65, but i keep basically teleporting either back to where i was 2 seconds ago, or it will zoom me 5 meters in whatever direction i tapped, im not sure what is causing this as it doesnt happen on t6 or t6 zombies with the same ammount of ping.
Pc specs
1080ti
Ryzen 7 2700x
16gb ddr4 3600mhz or 3200mhzMy specs are more than capable to run this, and i have a pretty speedy ethernet connection
Edit: also i can see me lagging when i watch the kill cam of my death

IBPreachin It could be the server your playing on or your graphics settings are too high causing your game to lag. Make sure as well your FPS is stable. Some people keep it as high as possible, but that will cause lag if it's not stable. FPS shouldn't be moving at all. Adjust it to where it's stable and enable FPS counter.

RedxSkull hiya, i am running max setting 4k 60fps (atleast steam thinks its 60fps) dont appear to get any drops in fps. Is it possible its uncapped and dropping a few hundred fps for a split second, therefore causing lag, and if so, how do i cap my fps within iw5, thanks for the help redx

Resxt thanks for all your help, i found out the issue by accident though, turns out my ethernet came loose as the cable is missing the little plastic bit that holds it in, and had switched over to my wireless
