Was this ever solved? I seem to be having the same problem but there is no answer listed here.

Your plutonium application is out of date.
Solution: Find and run the file "plutonium.exe" on your computer.
After that run your launcher file again ("plutonium-launcher-win32.exe") and the error code should disappear. You'll be able to login & resume playing.
If you can't find the files, install the software "Find Everything" (https://www.voidtools.com/) and search "plutonium" instead of using file explorer

Always use plutonium.exe, makes it much simpler.

Hello everyone, I have the same problem and with the application and explorer I cannot find the "Plutonium.exe" I have always played with the "plutonium-launcher-win32.exe" What should I do d.d

Unless you have manually downloaded the launcher you must have plutonium.exe already somewhere.
You can however just download it again from the install guide.
