Getting an error every time I try and login to my account

I enter my credentials into the launcher and when I press login I get some kind of error saying verification handshake error or smth

the same thing is happining to me we need to fix this NOW

I guess I waited long enough now to answer.
You all need to read the god damn docs and stop starting the launcher.
Start the updater instead.
