Few questions regarding assets and ff file overrides

Good evening I been wondering, as someone who has been in the cod modding community since 2013, does BO2 still have the ability to get other ff files or assets loaded through custom servers, dvars or the data folder?

as far as I know there is no ff modding but you can do texture swaping int he form of iwi files and if your hosting your own server doing gsc modding but other than that there is nothing you can do
