Cheaters, cheaters everywhere
-
Yea, ive been playing for a while now but in the last couple weeks the amount of cheaters has become so rampant that i dont even wanna start the game anymore, every server has on average at least 2 cheaters and as soon as one is gone the next one joins in, its impossible to have fun like that.
-
InTrance i know man its ridiculous, i dont remember it being so bad last year and, like you said, up to recently.
-
im not sure if im just lucky or something, but i mainly play WaW zombies and havent ran into a single cheater
-
@realfemboy im not familiar with the waw zombies scene but it's bad on bo2. Good to hear tho!
-
@realfemboy I play a lot of bo2 zombies, havent really run into cheaters at all but in multiplayer its bad...
-
Erm what cod are you playing? I play mw3 almost every day and never see anyone cheating. maybe you are mistaking good players for cheaters.
-
MattyS So there's this thing called reading comprehension. It means understanding written text.
I don't know about mw3 since i play bo2 almost exclusively but i think im good enough to tell the difference between good players and cheaters (it's usually pretty obvious). Been playing cod since cod4.
Maybe you lack the skill to tell apart cheaters from good players instead? Or there's really just way less cheaters in mw3, idk. -
MW3 has lots of cheaters. Most seem to be trying to hide it on killcams. But today, I watched this guy "LittleBus" on killcam snap on and shoot me through a solid wall 200m away
-
BO2 is full of cheaters. Most play sniper as you cannot identify them by a single shot. You can understand when use flashbang and they don't feel any blindness even if they don't have the skill to reduce damage. there are not only aimbots or wallhack, there are also no recoil, no fog or no flash cheats. I reported a lot of them but it's useless even if you prove by video recording.

90% of casual players accuse skilled players of cheating. It’s the nature of most casual players. This game is old and veterans already know all the spawn points, wall bang spots, meta, etc. If there are actual cheaters, then simply record it and report it to both Plutonium and the server owner. We can’t just ban all players that are skilled to keep casuals happy… The main reason why modern COD has skill-based matchmaking in the first place
-
RedxSkull I don't mean to be rude but you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.
-
RedxSkull The difference between good players who know the wallbang spots and cheaters is so obvious that its funny.
I reported many cheaters but i think its useless because a lot of new players start cheating every day so imo the only solution is for Plutonium to implement a somewhat decent anticheat.
I don't think they will tho because they don't seem to give a flying fuck....Also sbmm exists to keep noobs who get rekt from stop playing so they can spend billions of dollars in microtransactions.

InTrance Skill based matchmaking (SBMM) is a feature that was designed for casual players. It allows them to play with other players around their skill level and gradually improve their gameplay. Prevent getting dominated by a skilled player and quitting the game altogether. However, when it comes to dealing with cheaters, Plutonium requires video proof to prevent false bans. While Plutonium’s anti cheat system is not full proof, it’s important to know that no anti cheat system can be 100% effective. Any anti cheat system can be bypassed, even those used by AAA companies that spend thousands of dollars on their services. It’s an endless cat and mouse chase. Simple as that and the anti cheat can only slow down cheaters, but proper reporting is more effective and prevents veterans dealing with false bans. Some people don't know what a casual is, best to look it up to understand.

RedxSkull Oh you can find many video also in my post in this forum. The problem (and the cheater knows it) is: how can you record a cheater when you see on the killcam that he hit you by a single shot from sniper while blinded by a flashbang ? Records work only when you are a codecaster, but at the same time you don't have killcam so you cannot prove anything. I have many records, but most of the time cheater are out of game simply because they are annoyed and they change game. So recording video and reporting is useless. Not to mention that someone wrote that is the server admin that has to ban. So basically seems useless to post video on forum, seems you have to send the video to each server admin you play in order to get rid of him.
There is also the "psicological trick" to get rid of a cheater. One day I accused one guy of cheating and he told me he was "prefiring". The problem is that he wasn't since then. He started from that point, just to prove that he wasn't cheating. He started really to prefire, he started to shot to air, and played so badly that in a while he become a real noob. Some cheaters are not good player, once a couple of guy accuse them of cheating, they panic, get scared to be banned and leave the game or start to play like shit. -
RedxSkull uhuh......
-
Giemmeffe I spectate cheaters and then they get nervous and salty. They knife in the air and shoot in random directions or they pretend to suddenly not cheat Its funny as hell haha
-
I recorded this guy yesterday. It was the funniest cheater ever seen. Shooting on the floor because the cheat told him there was someone in the tunnel. No way to hide the cheat, but also bots were able to kill him because he had no skill. Reporting him is stupid. I already told him he was really obvious he was cheating. He asked me "am I not in lan mode?". https://youtu.be/AVAJU9RulmE

I can see this man has the BO1 Weapons Mod too (just R&D. That's for researching and discovery).
-
played plutonium after taking a good amount of break. i love this game still but its super unbearable with the cheaters taking over. was there really an anticheat to this to begin with?

i_Teabag Cheaters will eventually find a way to bypass the anti-cheat measures in any game. Even Triple A companies that invest thousands of dollars in anti-cheat services have already experienced bypasses. It's not possible for any anti-cheat system to be foolproof because it's an endless cat-and-mouse chase. Each time the anti-cheat is bypassed, developers need to discover how it was done and then patch it. It's an ongoing game of cat and mouse, but eventually, these cheaters' methods will be patched out. Manual bans are the most effective way to combat these cheaters. Be sure to report them and provide video proof
