Recently got a new computer, tried running the game after selecting the directory, and it gave me this error.
I tried reselecting the directory, launching BO2 multiplayer from steam (to maybe create that lost file it's looking for), and loading multiplayer through the vanilla game, nothing has worked so far.

Avi__ It sounds like game files are missing. Try running game file verification from Steam
