Alternative to Reshade.
-
Greetings! I've looked through the prior Reshade topics, and it plainly condemns Reshade, despite the fact that no reasonable alternative was presented by the staff or community.
As you may know, BO2 is superior to BO1 in terms of texture and models, but it lacks the same attractiveness. The visuals need some tweaking in order to play the game in delight by making it less difficult to see. To begin, a reduction of vibrance and other visual effects is much appreciated. I, and other common players, dislike delving into our display or GPU configuration for such a thing as we consider it inconvenient, as we have other games on our system. I fully understand that tryhards will do everything to avoid being banned whilst gaining the maximum advantage.
Furthermore, high-end players may enjoy post-processing effects, particularly bloom.
I appreciate the hard work of the plutonium staff, and I want you, the reader, to view this as a recommendation, rather than a complaint. -
Using Reshade can trigger the anti-cheat system, and it's possible to cheat with it. Some players will always find ways to misuse it, even though Reshade enhances visuals. In fact, some other games have also banned Reshade due to its potential for abuse

People caught cheating with ReShade are far and few, and even if it was the case. WHY not let us use it on zombies?? I can literally open the console and give me God mode, noclip and infinite ammo just fine but using reshade to make the game look half decent "hell no it's too much man !"
I can understand banning it for the T4 Multiplayer, but why for T4 Zombie is beyond me. Especially when nothing prevents me from using it on BO1 and it makes the experience way better. Also if you don't use injecting reshade add ons you shouldn't get banned, half of the regular reshade settings make your vision better, the other half makes it worse and there are a handful of ones that break the game and can give you unintended wallhacks (the price being that your game looks like absolute trash wit holes in textures etc)Anyway banning ReShade for "security reasons" really wasn't very clever. I understand banning it online, but not for the zombies. Likewtf am i gonna cheat with ? Give myself a wallhack to see zombies through walls ? Lmfao

no cus literally i agree so much with what everyone had to say, and now its my turn to deliver my perspective... so i like to play cod a lot, im in a groupchat on twitter with around 200 people frm around the world so that we can get sniper lobbies etc going. SNIPER LOBBIES... you know what that means? this is a culture and there are people hitting clips... what do people want done with those clips? they want them edited. as an on and off editor for the past 6 years, recording cinematics has been a very artistic but annoying process. ive been trying to record a triple collat cinematic and i literally need reshade, all my other cinematics that ive recorded have been on the steam version of mw3 because it lets you use reshade... i need my depth of field blur, i need my mxao shadow adjustments, and this ties into pluto cus there are editing mods built off of pluto mw3's code... I NEED RESHADE TO WORK ON PLUTONIUM. PLEASE. or atleast let us use it when we're not in an online game? for editors, we are literally never going to be playing the game with depth of field on, its purely aesthetic you know? im so passionate about this problem and so many editors have had to struggle and weirdly "solve" the problem in different makeshift ways

That is already doable, but since you mention sniper lobbies my interest in helping you any further is none existent.
