Questions about creating servers

Hello friends. I would like to create a BO2 Zombies server with good perks and lots of fun things. Is it very difficult to create a server if you have little knowledge? Does anyone know of a tutorial that explains everything a little? I have read posts in this configuration category but I can't understand some things.
I would also like to know if you recommend this server or if I need something more powerful, it is a VPS server based on US and Linux.

Hosting a server is not hard but you still need to understand/learn a few things/get used to how it works.
If you plan on hosting on Linux it's a lot harder for beginners yes. It's not even officially supported by Plutonium so you'll have to use tweaks and specific versions of software etc.
