Custom games with friends

Before the update I was used to host custom games and let my friends connect with the command line "command myip:port".
Is this procedure still working and identical to the past? because yesterday I tried it but nothing happened in my friends' computer. -

Yes, it's still the same. If nothing happens after executing the connect command that means that their client can't connect to yours. Check your port forwarding settings and make sure your pc's lan ip hasn't changed.
