Crashes on laptop screen

I'm having a very odd glitch with the launcher. I'm playing on laptop, and whenever its hooked up to another display like a tv or a monitor, it runs fine. But when i open the program through only my laptop screen, the launcher crashes on startup. If I open it on a monitor then unplug it, it crashes shortly after.
