If what you’re using doesn’t work, then make sure you’ve exited out of programs that affect the controller such as Steam, as suggested here: https://plutonium.pw/docs/controllers/#my-controller-is-still-not-working
If it doesn’t work after the previous suggestion, you can try other programs such as DS4Windows from the instructions of the previous link; or Steam by adding plutonium.exe as a non-Steam game and using Steam’s controller emulation by: right-clicking plutonium from your game library, selecting Properties… > Controllers, and changing the setting to: “Enable Steam Input”.
