    Go to C:\Users*NAME*\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5\players and do "CTRL+F". Search for the following commands and replace each one with the corresponding commands given (keep the quotation marks) r_blur_allowed "0" r_motionblur_enable "0" r_distortion "0" r_dof_enable "0" r_gfxopt_dynamic_foliage "0" r_gfxopt_water_simulation "0" r_glow_allowed "0" Optional Commands (network optimizations): cl_maxpackets "100" cl_packetdup "1" or "4" ~ I use 1 but if you play on high ping servers then do 4 If you can reach a stable 125fps do: com_maxfps "125" If you can reach ~90fps do: com_maxfps "90" edit If you are really struggling with frames in any game tbh, purchase Lossless Scaling on Steam and run some variation of Up-scaling method like FSR/DLSS to do 720p to 1080p.

    Crash reference ID: e54304f5 - 5490 - 4e86 - 9ad9 - c6c4b4373bee. Last gsc error message ‘loadedfx could not find affect maps/zombie/fx_zombie_tesla_tube_view3_ug - ensure that effect is precached in the server script, and included in appropriate CSVs’ Ye so basically whenever I load up town on WaW after I press click to start mission the game crashes along with plutonium and this message is shown in the crash dump and on screen. It’s literally just this custom map too no others has anyone else encountered this or know a solution? Thank you.

    I've ran into problems with BO1 and BO2 running fullscreen. For some reason they just work better in borderless windowed.

    Plutonium removed matchmaking and instead uses dedicated servers. Due to this, there's almost no hope for crossplay between Plutonium and Steam, let alone crossplay between Plutonium and a platform that doesn't crossplay with PC in the first place. Even cross-platform between Steam and the MS Store (aside from WaW) is non-existent due to different game architectures and keep in mind that those are both PC platforms that got official releases. So, crossplay with PS5 for BO1 and BO2 is very unlikely to happen.

    @nbl2sd your solution is in the error message... at the bottom. you need to tell plutoinum where your copy of the black ops 2 is installed. your game is not installed in the localappdata plutonium folder. the default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops II if it is not there, then right click on the game in steam and select Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse... and it will show you what folder the game is in. once you know that, you can use the "game settings" button to update plutonium so it knows where your game files are.

    you don't need to put the plutonium app into the same folder as the game files... in fact, i would recommend against it. I've seen more than 1 person break their install by moving game files or mixing plutonium files into their game folder. Just install bo2 from steam... then put plutonium somewhere (Desktop, C:\Cool, whatever) and then just tell plutonium where your game folder is using the SETUP button... it doesn't need to be mixed in.
