need help understanding plutonium.

just bought bo2 with all dlcs, and I'm wondering if it's safe to go online with random users. Plutonium should stop me from getting hacked right?

Khaos8 sadly Plutonium is the only safe online way to play the game, Steam version is abandoned by Activision and not safe at all. To make this clear: the issue comes from the servers/which platform you play on, not the game files. So using your Steam files on Plutonium is perfectly fine
Plutonium did patch all known security issues. You can play safely as long as you hit Play in the Plutonium launcher
