Level Sync with mods

Hello, so I'm hosting a private server for my friend to play with. And I use the T6 Bot Warfare mod
https://github.com/ineedbots/t6_bot_warfare.gitWhen we join the server it applies the mod and spawn with a level tied to the mod (I don't really know how to explain it)
The problem is that when my friend joins the server, their level always reset everytime they restart the game and they can never properly progress. How can I fix that? Do they have to have the mod in their folder too? -

That really isn't an issue with you, your server or the mod.
IIRIC the issue is your friend's internet. -
